Photoshop, the bread and butter of every graphic artist, web and multimedia developer. There are countless courses on how to use it; free and paid, for beginners and advanced users. I probably use it about once a month, a maximum of 30 minutes per session. Everything I’ve ever done on Photoshop was based on trial and error, which resulted in a waste of precious time. So, I decided to check out a beginner’s course. Since I took Daniel Scott’s Adobe Illustrator course and raved about it (I gave it 5/5), I decided to check his Photoshop course. And I was not disappointed. I was blown away by Daniel’s style of teaching, syllabus, and how super powerful and easy photoshop is when you learn the fundamentals from a pro, and not based on trial and error.
In conclusion, if you have dabbled with Photoshop in the past, and needed to create something quick and felt embarrassed to ask your in-house graphic designer, click on the link below and start learning. I think TutsPlus is offering this course for free. The course will not make you a great Photoshop chef, but you will learn how to cook your own fried rice with it. At least it is better than boiled eggs.
